We all get stressed out. You can’t avoid it. But you can shape how you think about it. When you know how to condition your mind, you can learn to distinguish between desire and doubt. Then you can begin to focus on the ability to do anything you set your mind to.
In 2012 I was laid off from my "just above broke" minimum wage job. I could have been upset and let my life go off the rails. Instead, I had a vision for my life that was greater than my present circumstances. I knew that in a matter of time, I would be living the life that I desired. Today I look back and laugh that those circumstances thought they could ever hold me down.
Make sure your vision is greater than where you are currently.
The most challenging thing for a person to do is to take the first step in their own personal journey. That journey can be a path to enlightenment, self-improvement, the pursuit of happiness, success, personal glory, the list goes on and on. Like the cliche saying goes, the first step is always the hardest.
